Mama's Boy

I will be the first to admit that I adore Napoleon Dynamite, which is why I will always give Jon Heder a shot to impress me with his films. When I saw that the cast of this film included Diane Keaton and Jeff Daniels, I thought "This could be good". But boy was I wrong. I should have done a little more research prior to viewing, because I would have realized that this movie was written by the man who brought us Saving Silverman, which I recall watching at the dollar theater during a finals week in college and feeling like I was not only ripped off, but as if I had wasted 2 hours of my life. And I had NEVER felt that way about a movie prior to Saving Silverman. This movie had some funny moments, but it was not even memorable enough for me to recall what they were. For all of you who are looking for a good comedy to brighten your evening...this is not it. Don't waste your time. This film is barely getting 1 pig from me.
